Doing This & That

From October 2011 through mid-April, I've been at my sewing machine making costumes, Christmas gifts, Bunco prizes (spa bags), and four quilts.  My little machine has been working hard, and I love it.   I also have decided that I like quilting so much that I've joined the Modern Quilting Guild on Facebook and plan to attend my first local meeting later this month.  In the midst of all this, my husband and I entertained some of his bike team members in from St. Louis with a wonderful dinner of barbeque and Sangria, and for dessert, a Cannoli cheesecake http://mermaidstreasures.blogspot.com/search/label/cheesecake, which was a big hit.  Here's some of the projects I accomplished these last few months, and also that cheesecake recipe.  Enjoy!
