Enjoying My Fruit Cocktail

Nine days later . . .  ta da!

Yes, my quilt is finished, and it will probably be the last one for a couple of months. You see, my hubby has been working diligently on our attic renovation, which will be my sewing studio, and as each day passes, he gets closer to the time where I will be able to help.  Yes, dry wall will be installed soon, so after he tapes and muds, I'll be helping with sanding, priming, and painting.  Oh boy!!!  Then after that it will be flooring, window treatments, reorganizing fabric, etc., etc.  You can probably imagine--the list will go on and on.  The results will be worth it though, and I'm very excited!

Here's the attic right now -

Hubby tells me that this weekend he'll begin putting up dry wall, so I expect that by mid-week next week, he'll have an assistant (me) with him from then on out.  I'll post pics as we go along.  Meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy my fruit cocktail.

    1. Meg, thank you for following me and, yes, I am so excited about my studio. My husband is working so hard, and I am rather anxious to roll up my sleeves and help him. Looks like it will be tomorrow or the next day that I will be joining him on a regular basis, until it's done.
